HOUSTON– Visitors staying at the Omni Resort in The Galleria area discovered their vehicles, trucks and SUV’s underwater Saturday morning after heavy rainfalls triggered Buffalo Bayou to flood the parking area.

“The mats are up in the seats aren’t they?” Pam Smith, a guest, claimed, describing the damages left.

Smith as well as her other half are restoring whatever they can from their Lincoln Navigator. The Smiths are in the process of returning from University Terminal.

“That pet dog bed is ours, that environment-friendly tarp, we’re re-doing a town house,” Smith claimed pointing to numerous items washed up in the parking area.

Friday night, couple determined to valet park their vehicle.
